November 12th meeting
Sunrise Rotarians,
Just a short recap of today's meeting. We covered many topics and made some overdue presentations. Today John Rydzik presented Marlene Gonzalez with the "President's Citation" and the "Lighthouse award". Marlene guided the club through the requirements necessary to achieve these honors during her term as club president, 2009-2010. In addition the club recognized Marlene for all her hard work and dedication to Hamburg Sunrise by making her a "Paul Harris Fellow". To close out wedding season at Sunrise the club presented Charlie Brooks with a set of Rotary pint glasses. So at work at play or even at home Charlie will never be far from Rotary. Pictures are posted in the photo journal. Also, Marlene gave out a flyer about this year's Christmas party. This will be the sixth annual joint party with Lions-Kiwanis-Rotary. Party will be held December 9th at Wanakah Country Club. Cost is $30.00 per person. Your reservations need to be in by December 1st. Check your calendars. I will send out a registration request please respond with an accept or decline as soon as you know if you will be attending.
