Trivia Night 2010 is now part of Sunrise history......
What a great evening.  Twenty five teams went into battle for the coveted tile " 2010 Southtowns Trivia Champions ". The trivia questions were plentiful, the answers were mostly wrong. The Quizmaster was masterful. His lovely assistant, SueVanna, wowed the crowd with her trivia board decal placement.  No expense was spared in the prizes awarded during the audience participation portion of the event, Reese's Peanut Butter cups are always good. The table tops and well worn crayons revealed the futile efforts of the audience to write down correct answers. THEN!!! a break in the action.  Our own Mike Reilly stepped to the microphone and attempted a live auction. Was it the jacket? Was the audience confused? How did Mike manage to get $36.00 for a cardboard cut out of Thurman Thomas? Now the main event----the team competition.  Five monitors attempted to keep the scoring accurate.  The audience attempted to generate misinformation to competitors and signal correct answers to their teams. Finally two teams were left standing.  You could feel the tension in the room. Which team would be victorious?  Did the Quiz Knows really know all the answers?  Where were Fattey's Phantoms? The final round. Each team member, hand poised to ring in, was thinking of all the possible questions and the answers AND the fabulous prize for the winning team. Slowly the points added up.  The audience was on the edge of their seats.  Who would it be?  Fattey's Phantoms appeared and are the 2010 Southtowns Trivia Champions.  If you were not able to join us on April 10th please visit the photo journal section of our website for pictures from this event.
