District 7090 Conference was held at the Millennium Hotel October 16-18.
I will give a short recap of this event and am attaching some pictures.  Sunrise participated in the decorated stool project. One of Marlene's talented employees crafted a cute stool for Sunrise. Saturday was the main day and it was very long. Registration started at 8:00am and the Club project tables were set up starting at 8:00 am. You will see some of the projects in the attached photos.  At the 12 noon lunch Jan Nichols, a Polio survivor, was the guest speaker.  During this event  Sunrise  received the President's Citation and the Lighthouse award for the goals achieved under Marlene's presidency in 2008-2009. The afternoon was dedicated to breakout sessions dealing with Youth programs. Finally the best part of the day - cocktail hour, wine and cheese.  There are several pictures of Rotaritans enjoying this event. Not many pictures of the Foundation dinner as it was very dark and our club camera is challenged. The dinner was fun and we had some local participants.  Erika George carried in the American flag. Jack Amico's daughter sang the National Anthems for both America and Canada. Click on the photos tab on the Home page to view these photos.  Please click on the photo to enlarge.  Enjoy!
